The moment Ruby spoke those words, something insnapped. | couldn't stand to hear a single thing about
that woman. It was far too late to make things right with her, and every second that passed maderealize it
even more.
Regret weighed heavy on me-I hadn't given her the attention she needed when she asked for it, hadn't shown
