Guilt radiated off her, even though none of this was her fault. | sighed and gently took her hands in mine.
"Margot, I'm the one who should apologize. | shouldn't have raised my voice at you. You're my elder, and | forgot
my manners."
She pulledinto a hug, her warmth grounding me. "I should have asked before taking the order. | had no
idea."
After a moment, she pulled away, determination settling on her face.
