Chapter 177 Marriage Certificate "What?" Natasha replied, followed by a confused sticker.
The next second, a video call cthrough.
The moment I answered, her nosy voice rang out. "What's going on? Spill it now!" Her face was a picture of curiosity, and before I could say a word, she started guessing on her own.
"Who is it? Don't tellit's that junior of yours. Or is it that CEO, Eric, who helped you out? Wait-could it be srandom C-list celebrity? No way! That can't be!" I sighed in exasperation. "It's Eric." Then, I explained everything to her. Of course, I left out the part where I agreed to marry him out of gratitude.

It's all benefits and no drawbacks, so I thought that I might as well go through with it." Natasha squinted atlike swise old sage, even stroking an imaginary beard. "I need to meet this Eric sometime. I don't know why, but something about this doesn't sit right with me." I laughed and agreed to it, "Alright." The next day, I showed up in front of Eric with my suitcase.
He chuckled, then signaled his assistant to take my luggage to our new home. He then pulledinto the car.
I stared out of the window absentmindedly, only to suddenly realize that we weren't taking the route to the city clerk's office. Frowning with confusion, I turned to Eric.
He was smiling warmly as he looked at me.
"Before we get our marriage certificate, we need to tidy up our appearances a little. After all, we have to take a photo to commemorate it. We should make ourselves look good." Hearing this, I glanced at my reflection in the rearview mirror. After staying up late packing, I definitely wasn't looking my best. I acquiesced to his suggestion.
For sreason, even though I knew this certificate meant nothing, I still cared about how I looked in our photo today.
That afternoon, Eric and I arrived at the city clerk's office. Since it wasn't a special date, there weren't many people. The whole process was quick and smooth.
The process of filling in the forms and submitting the paperwork was done smoothly.
Within minutes, we were sitting at the desk, waiting for the staff to hand over our marriage certificate. The clerk glanced at her computer and then looked up at us. Her gaze was filled with warmth.
She smiled at me. "Young lady, you're so lucky to have such a handshusband. You know, swomen these days look absolutely stunning, but their husbands? Not so much." I smiled awkwardly, completely unsure of how to respond.

Hearing this, the clerk immediately realized her mistake and laughed ke and awkwardly. "Yes, you're right! You're both very lucky to have each other!" Just as she finished speaking, she stamped our marriage certificate and handed it over.
I also saw the photo that we had taken just now. Our heads were close together, and we looked like an actual loving couple.
Eric placed a tip on the table as a sign of gratitude, then took my hand and ledout of the office, looking rather pleased. But just as we reached the entrance,
a couple barged in without looking and collided straight into us. Then impact knocked the marriage certificate out of my hands, sending it flying to the floor.
Before either Eric or I could say anything, the other party immediately started blaming us.
"What the hell? Can't you watch where you're going?"
