The moment we were settled on the bed again and the food had been laid out in front of us. Alpha Greyson’s
face remained. on mine and he watched my every movement, from the moment | dug my fork into the food,
even till the food made its way into my mouth.
The glee on his face was similar to the one a child that had been given their favorite bar of chocolate had.
Surprisingly, the moment the food cin contact with my tongue the burst of flavors was shocking and |
couldn't have been able to hold in my surprise even if | had tried. The moan that escaped my lips was already a
dead giveaway that | was enjoying the food.
“That good huh?” “The Alpha was currently wiggling his brows in pride and | was enjoying the food too much to
try to put a dent in his good mood by downplaying how good the food actually was.
That did not seem to please the Alpha because in the next minute he was taking the plate out of my hands and
sending a playful glare my w
“If you're not going to admit that the food actually tastes amazing then you don’t deserve it.”
“I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It tastes wonderful, can | have my plate back now?” | humored him, doing my best to hold
in my laughter at his sulky face.

We are the most of our meals in silence but | didn’t mind. It was a comfortable silence, not one of the ones that
madethink about what to say to dispel it. Or the ones that madefear that he was upset. This one was
the type of silence that brought with it, calmness.
The only sounds that could be heard in the room was the sound of cutlery against plate.
But alas! It was broken.

The question threwoff guard and | paused with my fork midway to my mouth, before dropping it back onto
my plate. | couldn't remember a twhere | had been asked this question since | left.

days with no food. It got worse when | had Jessy. There were bad whispers, finger pointing, mean words and even

The Alpha reached out towards my face and | frowned at his hands, it wasn’t until he was wiping a tear from my
face that | realized that i was crying

Once he was done, he opened his arms and | moved to settle in between it. Closing my eyes at the feeling of his
large, warm arms wrapped securely around my small frame. His intoxicating scent helped to calmdown and
in minutes | couldn’t even remember why | had been crying
“Feel better?” He whispered toand | nodded my head not wanting to move from my cozy spot against his
chest. “It’s Sam already, | think we should start getting ready for our day.” He said softly again and | groaned
loudly Peeking my head from its cozy spot to glance at the bedside clock. True to his words the red numbers
showed 5:05.a.m
Sighing heavily | moved out of his arms and trudged in the direction of the bathroom. Hoping to wash away the
sex and sweat that clung to my skin before beginning my day.
| twisted the shower knobs until the right temperature of water was pouring out and | had just stepped into the
downpour when the glass of the shower stall was pulled open and the Alpha was joiningin the space.
It was definitely not the first twe were taking a shower together but the mischievous glint that shone in his
eyes letknow that he was up to no good this time.
